OUR HISTORY

LEON de PAZ – bioclimatic project & consulting, is a Spanish multidisciplinary architecture practice whose founders offer more than 25 years of design excellence.

At present, our studio is settled in Pondicherry.

We moved to India, seduced by this interesting and emerging country, 6 years ago to broaden our perspective and professional goals after having developed our extensive career in Europe and Singapore.

Every project is a new design, a renovation or a restoration of an existing space, in which we commit and guarantee personalized attention in each of the steps and a continuous passion for the quality of the details and the creation of places that are meaningful to people.

Our studio has a strong team-based culture. Together we work to offer an outstanding design in each project developed, regarding architecture, interior design, landscaping, cultural events or artistic creations.

LEON de PAZ is a laboratory where a variety of highly qualified specialists come together to create a unique and successful compendium.

ABOUT US

Virginia Leon

M.S.Arch RIBA,

is a registered Architect in India.

Obtained her Master’s Degree in Architecture and Building Construction (M Sc. Architecture: Arch. Design & Arch. Engineering) at Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM) Polytechnic University of Madrid.
In 2012, motivated by her interest and commitment to the environment, Virginia decided to specialize in Sustainable and Green Building, completing the Master in Environment and Bioclimatic Architecture , MAyAB. Department of Construction and Architectural Technology.

She started her own firm LEON de PAZ, with Salome de Paz in 2017 as managing architect director, and partner.

Salome de Paz

Obtained her Graduate Degree in Fine Arts at Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.

She has developed the practice’s collaborative approach by working with architects, artists, designers, and consultants.

In 2001 Doctorate in Design and Image. Departments of Design, Marketing & Advertising, and New Technologies.
In the 2010s she completed her professional training with a Master in Design and 3D Modeling of Architectural Projects, later specializing in Image processing and Interior Design.

She started her own firm LEON de PAZ, with Virginia Leon in 2017 as manager creative director, and partner.

Ranjith Kumar

Highly motivated professional, with great ability to lead teamwork, providing direction and support to junior staff, as well as continued coordination with other professionals.
With a strong background, he approaches each project with extensive research, thoughtful creativity, enthusiasm and commitment.

He joined LEON de PAZ in 2021 as communication manager, photographer, and associate partner.
